Diveo was a startup subsidiary of Diveo Broadband Networks Inc., incorporated in the USA in 1996 and funded by Ericsson and Lucent.
The Datacenter Operations in Brazil started in may 2000 as the largest Data Center in Latin America located at Tamboré – São Paulo.
Main achievements
I was responsible for the start-up and system technology and operation management of both datacenters in Brazil (Datacenter 1: 600 sq m, Datacenter 2: 17.000 sq m).
Within my area of expertise were groups of systems development, second/third level support, database management, information security and customer projects.
I was responsible for the definition of the most important service offerings of the company. Defining offering scope, pricing strategy, tools policy and procedures, Sales Force Support and Training of products like: Business continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans, Reporting, Security Network Office, NOC, Dedicated Hosting, Availability & Capacity Management, Virtual NOC, among others.
Trade agreement and acquisition of Mercury Load Runner solution to load test web applications.
Implementation of Fault & Performance Management based on HP Open View and Micromuse NetCool.
worked in the sale and pre-sale of systems development outsourcing projects in Brazil, Mexico, Peru and USA.
Implementation of document management solution and process automation from OpenText (Livelink).
Implementation of managing performance and availability of database based on BMC SmartDBA.
Implementation of database clusters on high availability.
Development projects in the areas of: fault management, capacity management, configuration management, and information security.
I designed and implemented solutions for dedicated and shared storage for high-volume data based on IBM equipment, EMC and SUN.
Administering an operation with more than 1.000 servers and operating systems such as Solaris, AIX, HPUX, Windows, among others.
Set and implemented information security policy, procedures.
Backup centralized solution implementation based on Veritas product. Policy, procedures and automatic provisioning.
Project definition and implementation of network services for remote administration of the entire operation.
I played a key role helping the company conquest prominent position in this competitive market.
I won the "Chairman's circle of Excellence Award" in recognition of my performance in sales during the year of 2001.
